I love photography. I love how behind every photo there's a story. I love how you can tell so much from simply looking at a photo and being able to relive moments that are captured. But photos can also create a false illusion of perfection. We only know as much as we see and there are many stories behind a photo that we may never know. So today I wanted to share a little bit of reality behind these photos.
These photos were taken on a Saturday, after a long week of back to back 12-14 hour days at work. It was my first day off in about two weeks. On top of how tired I was that same week my car battery decided to stop working. I was very stressed trying to figure out how I would get to work that Friday morning. Thankfully AAA came to my rescue to give my battery a jump charge at 12AM and I was able to get to work. I thought my little problem was over but Saturday morning came and I was ready to head out to meet Sydney for some blog photo taking and yes.... you guessed it, my car wouldn't start. I ended up taking my moms car not realizing I had taken my sisters only ride to work. The whole entire time I was out and about trying to have a good time with Syd, I had a lot on my mind.
When will I have the time to do that to get a new battery?! Crap.... it's going to be expensive isn't it!? How is my sister going to get to work? How am I getting to church tomorrow? How will I get to work Monday!?
Yep... I was stressed. We managed finding some awesome locations and got some great photos which helped ease the stress for the day. And thankfully, the rest of the craziness did sort itself out... eventually.
Now lets talk about fashion. I am super obsessed with this outfit! But since we are talking about reality here then we all know that in Florida a beanie or cardigan are hardly needed.... even in the fall. But to complete this outfit both were definitely needed! Thankfully on this hot Florida day I was able to find some shade and got these amazing photos! Although it may not seem like it I was extremely hot and sadly as soon as we were done I quickly took off the cardigan and beanie. Now that it's near the end of November Florida is finally giving us some cooler weather! And I will be able to wear a sweater for Thanksgiving! Hooray!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! See you guys on the next post!
